I was in a meeting yesterday and the instructor was going over the cost of getting the proper license plate for trucks. As he explained the costs, one attendee said, "What is the cost of the plate versus the cost of the fine without it?" Everyone got a chuckle, but I think there was much more truth than most perceived. We, as a "Christian nation", would rather consider the penalty "if we get caught", than what we should be doing without the thought of the penalty. Isn't it time we realized we can't play games with God? We can't hide, we can't skirt God's rules. God will not be mocked, yet I see people everyday thinking they're pulling the wool over God's eyes.
